Inspectors:
BIS Insurance Services is a leading provider of Commercial Property and Casualty Loss Control inspection surveys in the state of Florida. We have immediate opportunities for Independent Contractor Insurance Inspectors throughout the state. The best candidates will have basic knowledge of commercial lines of insurance, construction classification and Life Safety and NFPA Codes.

An Insurance Inspector:

• Submits completed inspections electronically
• Travels locally to the insured's site(s)
• Evaluates the insured by interviewing, touring premises, measuring and calculating square footage, drawing diagrams (using programs such as WinSketch, RapidSketch, etc...), taking digital pictures, identifies hazards and controls, making recommendations as necessary, in order to help the policy underwriter determine whether or not an insurance policy should be issued or be renewed.

• Have knowledge of commercial lines of insurance, construction classifications and Life Safety and NFPA Codes.
• Ability to identify hazardous conditions (regarding public safety and/or property damage) at a Commercial Property or Business.
• The Ability to make recommendations to eliminate any potential hazards.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and is self-motivated.
• Excellent Organization and time management skills.
• Computer Skills (email, scanning, Excel, etc...)
